Updates and ramblings...January edition

Woohoo!  We FINALLY closed on our new house.

Big smiles! :):)

We love the new house and have enjoyed being in a new space.

Other than that...nothing new to report. Lol.  Jenna is growing like a weed.  Here is her past week in pictures and videos:

Winter is finally here in SC, which means lots and lots of static!



 
A gift from my friend, Jenny - Jenna wouldn't come near this pig hat for the longest time, but now that she likes to get a little goofy, she loves it!
 
Jenna loves to line her animals up on the edge of the bathtub and sing Old McDonald had a farm...and we love "Elmo bath cobbors", too!

And I almost forgot...JP and I will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary this Thursday!

Hello to all of you, our friends and family! We are very excited about this new journey in our lives, and have created this blog as a way to share our ongoing news about Baby Cole with each of you! As you may already know, JP and I are expecting our first child, due on February 24, 2011. This was a surprise, but is very much a blessing! As of now, I am midway through my 12th week of pregnancy, and we were happy to get started in the second trimester. Since we are in the second trimester, I will take a moment to catch everyone up on what we've missed so far... How long do you want to be loved? Is forever enough?

After reviewing what I have written all in one, I apologize ahead of time for the length, and the fact that it may seem like I jump from one thing to another. Think of it as a representation of my thought process, a free association blog post, if you will. Thanks in advance for reading. This post truly is a pouring out of my heart... I pulled out an old India.Arie CD recently and started listening to it.  There are just some artists that perform straight to my soul and she is certainly one of them.
