Cole Family News....

We have officially entered the world of jabbering!  I was finally able to get it on video tonight (after a little fussing!). :)

Anyone who knows JP and I knows that we love to eat!  We eat all the time.  Seriously.  So, it should come as no surprise that Jenna loves to eat, too.  Last night for dinner, she had a whole piece of chicken breast and a side of squash.  I was amazed.  And she wasn't through.  She was fussy and pointing at my plate, signaling to me that she was still hungry (we are working on signing "more" but not there yet).  So, a half of a banana and three huge strawberries later, she finally seemed satisfied. If she keeps eating like this, we're going to have to up the grocery budget (again)!

Jenna had her 1 year well visit with Dr. Mills yesterday morning.  Since we tend to make a once monthly sick visit, it was really nice to go in for a well visit for a change! Jenna is officially starting to level out.  She is no longer off the charts!  Here are her stats: Weight - 23 pounds - 79th percentile Length - 30.5 inches - 89th percentile Head Circumference: 45 cm - 49th percentile In seeing this, JP said, does this mean she has a tiny head??  Which made me laugh.  I had to explain that 49th percentile is perfectly average. :) In addition to determining her measurements, we also had 4 vaccinations yesterday.  Given that they are not able to combine them, and we ended up having a shot in each leg and each arm, this round did not go as smoothly as they have in the past.  I was proud of her, though, because she is a tough little thing.  It was obvious that it hurt really bad, but with a little comforting and playing before we got dre...

On Saturday, we had a very small party, which included immediate family and a couple of our closest friends.  Jenna had a great time - as did we.  She really had a ball with her cake!  As a result, we'll start with the video of her with the cake and then share all of the pictures! :)

Our little boogie is 1 today.  It's hard to believe that it's been one whole year!  Never did I imagine that my life could be more complete.  She is such a sweet, sweet girl and is a perfect mix of both JP and I. Happy 1st Birthday, Jenna Mae!  Mommy & Daddy love you so, so very much!

JP gets every other Tuesday evening off, so we decided to do a family date night at EdVenture  - for those who don't live locally, here is a link to their website: EdVenture   The second Tuesday of every month, they do Family night, where admission is only $1 per person.  $3 for a family date night is a great deal! I took a ton of pictures and videos!  Here they are... They have an exhibit called "My Backyard" just for children 3 and younger.  We spent the majority of the time we were there in this room.  What was really fun for JP and I was to stay back a little and let Jenna master some skills! We started in an area that is a romper area - obviously for smaller infants. Then Jenna moved on to a big stuffed turtle.  As you can see, she found a friend in the process. Like most infants, Jenna is fascinated by mirrors - especially mirrors where she can look at herself! From there, Jenna made her way to a corner area, where a ramp lead...
